Green Hill Therapy
Green Hill Therapy offers therapeutic horseback riding, with Pt and OT on hand. The program is located at 1500 Long Run Road (zip code 40245) with a brand new indoor arena and therapy gym being built. Please contact Shirley Cochran or Lisa Dean at (502) 244-8011. Therapeutic Riding Association of Louisville
Located at 4090 Webb Road, has a wide variety of documented benefits for special needs individuals, including stimulation of deep muscles. It also improves balance and coordination, hand-eye coordination, emotional control and patience. Our Therapeutic program is offered year round. Lessons are scheduled individually. Free Therapeutic Horseback Riding for the Handicapped

Research has shown multiple benefits of this type of therapy for the disabled; physically, socially, and emotionally. The first Spring session will begin May 5 - June 28th with one 45 minute lesson per week located on Mudsplash Road near Glendale, KY.

My name is Carol Caldwell. I am a Special Education teacher at Lincoln Trail Elementary with 30 years of teaching experience, 12 of which have been in Special Education. This center has been a dream of mine for many years. Providing FREE Horseback Riding and Animal Therapy for People with Challenges of all ages

Our program is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization open to all ages. At our center each new rider starts with private individual classes so that we may build on their physical and mental abilities along with extending their attention span. Once both of these task are completed and they no longer need sidewalkers we will buddy them up with another rider so that they may interact with each other while riding. The two riders can then start encouraging each other and play games together making their class more recreational than before. For more information click on

Rose Walton, a businesswoman, and parent of a 19 year old son who has disabilities has recently opened the ETA Center (Exceptional Teens & Adults). The center offers an activities based program for teens/adults with disabilities and is located on the grounds of Christ the King Church at 44th & Broadway. It is open from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
